Hi, everyone! My name is Holly Sims, I use she/her pronouns, and I am super excited to be your Senior Resident (SR) this year! I am a graduate student in the Batten School working on my Master of Public Policy. In undergrad, I studied Environmental Science and Urban & Environmental Planning, and I hope to one day work on climate justice policy or philanthropy. I'm originally from Tallahassee, Florida, which is why I am the proud owner of the email TallahasseeLassie@virginia.edu (and slay@virginia.edu, if you ever need to reach me). At UVA, I've been involved in First Year Players, the Washington Society, Culture of Respect Educators, and Phi Sigma Pi. I'm currently one of the VPs for Student Council, so I'm always here to lend an ear about any and all UVA complaints. This year will be my fourth year in Housing and Residence Life, but it will be my FIRST year in Brown College. I have a lot of learning to do alongside you all, and I'm honored to be doing it in the tightest knit community in UVA!
