How to Apply

The deadline for incoming first-year and transfer students to complete their application to Brown is June 1st at 11:59 PM. Students will need to apply through the Housing & Residence Life website. Applicants should complete the general Housing application, which will then direct them to a PDF version of our supplemental application (all within the Housing & Residence Life website). Both the Housing application and our supplement are necessary to be considered for a spot in Brown. You may submit the supplemental application to the link below or to the link provided through the Housing and Residence Life website.

We can only receive materials through electronic submissions.

• To submit your applications electronically, upload a PDF file to our submission portal. Please use your UVA computing ID as the filename (e.g. brc2cg.pdf).

Brown College welcomes incoming transfer and exchange students to apply in our application process. We have found transfer and exchange students to be an integral part of our community and look forward to receiving your application.
