About the name: The term "symposium" originates from the "convivial discussions" and parties that would occur after banquets in ancient Greece. This sounds exactly like the warm academia of Brown College - a pursuit of connection and knowledge that exists not only in classrooms, but in the dining halls, lounges, and libraries of Brown. As there's simply no way to boil down the content of this project to a specific focus of study or life at Brown, the plural Symposia serves as the name of this podcast.
