Peter L. Sheras, Ph.D, ABPP is a practicing clinical psychologist and professor in the Curry School of Education where he serves and the Chair of the Department of Human Services and Director of Clinical Training in the Clinical and School Psychology Program. He practices as a clinical psychologist and is the author or co-author of 9 books and numerous articles. He teaches courses at UVA on the Science of Happiness, Leadership and Adolescent boys and ethics in psychology. He and his wife publish extensively in the area of relationships and couples. He is a member of the State Board of Psychology and is on the Board of Directors of the American Psychological Association. He has been at UVA for 43 years and been a fellow of Brown College for more than 10 years.
